We all experience disappointment at times, it is easy to get angry by a problem that arises in life or work. I experience many issues around the technical part of my work, someday s it looks like I painted with a yam, gold application pucker, wood cracking, rejection and at times, it seems as if I’m being tested by my ability to deal with difficulties, rather than the real job itself. It is down right disappointing! When realizing that we are appointed by God, his opportunities await us, bigger, better things than we expected will arrive. God can help us to move towards a better ending than ever. Continue to paint, move forward, no matter your circumstances and God will turn things around. Moving forward only means you will succeed. Place your self in the company of others who will support your work. Find resources that will further your goals. Knock on doors that you never imagined would open. Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. ~(Psalm 54:4). Here is a poem in part written by Edith Lillian Young and has helped me overcome all obstacles in my life and work.
“Disappointment — His Appointment”
Change one letter, then I see
That the thwarting of my purpose
Is God’s better choice for me.
His appointment must be blessing,
Tho’ it may come in disguise,
For the end from the beginning
Open to His wisdom lies.
